I rarely do eatery review, but when I do, it is because I love the place a lot that I feel like I have to share it with you guys. I love you guys okay, if I eat good foods you guys gotta have em too. This time it is for Pinggan Puteh, a restaurant in Shah Alam that serves local dishes.

I knew about this restaurant from a blog post about pink themed cafes in Malaysia. I can tell you that there's not much here in KL/Selangor area. So this is a good place if you're looking for a pink eatery.

The interior gives a clean and homey vibes. I especially love the mirror decorations on the wall. It gives out a modern look. I went there pass lunch hour so there were not a lot of customers.

Pricing for the foods are average for fancy cafes like this in my opinion. Even though they prepare local dishes, I don't necessarily think that they are overpriced, due to the quality of the foods. And the taste. They are so so good! If you're not into local foods, they do have western options (see Pinggan Barat section in the menu)

Pinggan Utama : Lemak Daging & Sayur Asin (RM12)

Sago Gula Melaka (RM5)

Virgin Mojito and Kasturi & Asam Boi (RM6 each)

It was an unplanned trip. I went there with my boyfriend to accompany him getting his late lunch. I already had mine prior, so we didn't order much. But, we are very satisfied with our orders nonetheless. I loveeeee love the drink that I order a lot! I love both of them but I love mine slightly more, the Kasturi & Asam Boi drink. It is very refreshing. If you're from Sabah and you know about Kitchai juice, this is exactly the same drink. I used to order Kitchai a lot when i was in Sabah, so this brings back memories.

I would come back for that drink alone <3

Now here where it gets pink! This area is a must for instagrammers to take a photo. It's pink and pretty. You can just search for the keyword "Pinggan Puteh" on instagram and I'm sure this area will pop up a lot in people's photos haha.

Another area for good photos (outdoor)

Overall, I would highly recommend this place. The foods are so good. That lemak cili api we ordered? It has just the right amount of spiciness and lemakness, as if that is even a word lol. My boyfriend enjoyed it a lot and he said he want to come back here next time too.

Address : No. 30/G, Jalan Kristal K7/K, Seksyen 7, 40000 Shah Alam, Selangor

You know how I usually go for gel or balmy moisturizers for the longest time ever? If you have been following my blog, you might notice that I often tend to avoid cream moisturizers as I have oily skin. The last time I did, I broke out terribly. It was a drugstore moisturizer haha. My holy grail moisturizer was the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. However, I have noticed difference in my skin type as it gets drier and drier since a few months ago.

No gel or balmy moisturizers seem to be working for my skin at one point it just seems drier, oilier and duller. I looked into my beauty samples drawer and found a deluxe sample size of the First Aid Beauty Repair Cream so I thought, let's give it a try.

Thank you Sephora for this deluxe sample size! It lasted me for about a month

I was hesitant at first, because this is the first cream moisturizer I am trying after the longest time ever. I didn't expect anything other than it would probably give me bumps and acne. If that happens, i will just use it as a hand moisturizer. And oh boy, I was wrong.

THIS IS THE BEST MOISTURIZER EVER!

I was not expecting much because even though it gets pretty good reviews online, it also gains quite a good amount of negative reviews. It is a quite popular though. I guess this is the kind of product where you either hate it or love it. I'm glad I'm in the latter category.

First, let's talk packaging. The moisturizer have different types of packaging for different sizes. The one that I am using comes in tube packaging for 56.7g (RM54). The other two are 170g which comes in tub packaging (RM135) and 226g (RM178) in tube. I don't understand why the 170g needs to be in tub unlike the other twos. It is the sole reason why I didn't pick it up as tubs can be very unhygienic in the long run. I am guessing they just provide options for the customers' own preferences.

Ingredients : water/aqua/eau, stearic acid, glycerin, c12-15 alkyl benzoate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, glyceryl stearate se, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, butyrospermum parkii butter, dimethicone, squalane, allantoin, camellia sinensis leaf extract, caprylyl glycol, ceramide 3, chrysanthemum parthenium extract, colloidal oatmeal, disodium edta, eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, glycyrrhiza glabra root

It doesn't have crazy long list of ingrediets, but it does contain a lot that I don't understand or never heard of lol. Therefore I just did some research online and found the ingredients to be completely safe for the skin

Ingredient analysis by https://www.skincarisma.com

"Banish dry skin with First Aid Beauty's Ultra Repair Cream. Suitable for all skin types, especially dry, flakey skin, this hydration wonder leaves skin feeling smooth, hydrated and comfortable after just a single use." - First Aid Beauty website

It does claim to be suitable for all skin type so seeing this analysis is a relief to know that they really stand up to their claims. Even though it is a cream type moisturizer, it is actually water based. It is not marketed as a face moisturizer, but just moisturizer in general so people with eczema or any other dry skin conditions can use this product for that matter.

I was afraid the first time I used this product because I can just tell that it contains silicon by the texture. And to no surprise, it is indeed not silicon free. My skin can get clogged up very easily so I tend to avoid products with silicon in them. Fortunately, this moisturizer doesn't clog my pores at all and instead, it helps to heal textures from my skin. Talk about amazing!

I do not have very bad textures to begin with, but just like I said that my skin gets clogged up very easily, so I do have some bumps here and there and therefore I rely on my blackhead extractor a lot. Ever since I started using this moisturizer, not only my skin become smoother, I rarely ever get acnes too! Less acne means less scars, and less scars means less texture! It's not named "repair cream" for nothing I guess. On Sephora website, it is described to be exfoliating so I guess that is one of the reasons how my skin got cleared up from bumps.

Do you notice how smoother and more moisturized my hand looks in picture 3 versus in picture 1?

The cream itself is pretty thick, kinda like a whipped cream texture. But it absorbs very fast into the skin no matter how much I apply. It doesn't leave me with an oily look, but rather a bit of a glow. And it definitely works well to give ample hydration for my skin. Sometimes, even with gel moisturizers, my skin will be oily at the end of the day so I would need an oil blotter. But not with this one! My skin feels and look great throughout the day, with or without makeup. Yes, even in this crazy hot weather of Malaysia!

This is not the moisturizer if you're looking one for brightening, or something that targets acne. They do have other products available for those concerns.

This has definitely become my number one moisturizer now, beating all other moisturizers that I have used before. You probably won't see me reviewing any new moisturizers for awhile because I have finally found the one lol! I use this product as both daily and nightly moisturizer. Overall, 5/5 and would totally repurchase over and over again!

Hey beauties! As much as I love writing beauty posts, let's take a break and appreciate this bomb song for awhile. Do you guys know Super Junior? If you don't I am pretty sure you've heard their song "Sorry Sorry" anyways.

They just come out with a new song with Reik. The band is the winner of Latin Grammy Award in 2009. Now to the interesting part. This is a song that combines 3 languages. English, Korean and Spanish. How amazing is that? And it works too! It sounds so good.

Let's be honest here, I am a huge fan of Super Junior, but I really really genuinely love this song that I just have to share it here. Hope you guys love it too! If you can't click on the music video down below, Here is the link to the music video ❤ Link

Now I want to share some of my favorite scenes in this sexy music video. Sorry, can't help it

This looks like a scene in a movie hahahaha I love bad boys vibe

THANK YOU TO WHOEVER'S IDEA IT IS TO DO THIS TO DONGHAE

This dancing in the flood scene is perfect! When life gives you flood, you turn it into a dance floor

SCROLL DOWN IF YOU'RE UNDERAGE

The guys from Reik are so good looking. I love when they get together in a scene like this.

When I saw this in the music video teaser, I literally scream. Yesung is my bias and I hope I am not the only one who thinks this part is sexy as heck. Crushing the rose? Yeye you can crush my heart anytime

There is no rapping in this song but I honestly love Eunhyuk's part the most. His voice just suits his part very well. And to his stylist, thank you you did a great job
I am Yesung during gathering

You don't have to do that leader nim....BUT OKAY I SEE YOU O.O

So.......to my followers, this is a part of me that you may haven't seen yet. If you're shocked, I am sorry HAHAH. I have been an elf (fandom name of Super Junior) Since 10 years ago. They have another Kpop X Latin Pop song titled Lo Siento. Just search it on Youtube, I promise you won't be disappointed. Till then, bye!

I still remember my first ever beauty video on Youtube. It was Michelle Phan's Barbie makeup tutorial. Back then I knew nothing about makeup and only own a compact powder and a colorless lip balm. My friend showed me the video and I was totally hooked. I watched each and every single video by Michelle Phan after that and here I am now, owning a beauty blog. Thank you Michelle Phan, you're always the number one in my heart!

But now that she is retired as a beauty vlogger, I have moved on to some other beauty youtubers. Not a lot of them are trustworthy considering Youtube is a great place to make money, therefore a lot of reviews can be biased or just merely out of sponsorship. I have no problem with sponsorships, I think they are completely fine. I mean, you gotta make money to survive anyway, and being a youtuber is really not easy at all, so I have really high respect for people who have make it as their full time job. Above all, integrity is where the line is set.

1. Tati Westbrook

She is the most trustworthy person that I go to when it comes to makeup reviews. She is brutally honest with her reviews and therefore she sometimes get backlashes from people and companies, but hey! It's not called a review if you only have nice things to say. If your product is crap, she's gonna say it's crap, with justifications. And so far, I completely agree with her reviews comparing to my own experiences with products. I also love the fact that she is up to try every makeup brands as much as possible, from the most affordable wet & wild to the most boujee brands like Lamer. From Western to K-Beauty, she got it all covered. She literally post every single day too! I can't believe the amount of dedication and hard work she put onto her channel.

2. KathleenLights

I also feel like Kathleen is one of the most genuine youtubers with her makeup and skincare reviews. I have found a lot of my favorite makeup products through her recommendation so I can totally tell ya you can believe her. A lot of them are from drugstore too so that is a steal! She loves a lot of afforfable products like Colorpop, Physicians Formula, Elf, so her channel is very good for my pocket currently as a student lol! Most importantly, she is so random and cute it is very interesting to watch her reactions to products haha.

3. PONY Syndrome

DEMIT THIS LOOK IS FREAKING BEAUTIFUL

Her makeup skill is on another level. She really knows what she is doing and it is always more about techniques and skills than products itself. I learned a lot of korean style makeup from her and she is one truly talented artist I have to say. The result of her makeup tutorials are always looking so perfect and on point that you just wanna recreate the look after watching, and so far, I have failed miserably a lot of times hahaha. And because she is so great with her techniques, if I see her using a certain products for certain makeup look, I know I must have it too, lol. She sold me a lot of products hehe.

4. SunnydahyeIn

Sunny got two channels, Sunnydahye and SunnydahyeIn. She is a korean that can speak Indonesian language, and lately she has been focusing more on her Indo channel but I am not complaining! That is because I am a Malay, and Malay and Indo language are similar so I have no trouble understanding her. Her videos are very entertaining and she is super adorable and funny. I watch her mostly for her korean beauty reviews, and because she sometimes have great recommendations for Indonesian weather, which is similar to Malaysian weather, I NEED TO WATCH HER. A lot of our local youtubers do videos about makeup, which I have watched a lot from western youtubers anyway so I watch Sunny for skincare benefits.

5. TheBeautyBreakdown

Morgan's channel is where I refer to the most when it comes to comparing makeup products. She is super detail and hardworking with her comparison and review videos it feels like an investigation lol. She does more videos on K-Beauty so if I am feeling indecisive about choosing a cushion foundation, beauty blenders or sleeping masks, her channel is where i go to. She always does super close ups to her skin so that you can see every details on how the product is working. And don't let me start with her skin....She is a glowing goddess. Her skin is so perfect it looks like porcelain! No pores and literally glowing. Such a beauty.

6. Bubzbeauty

I have watched her since high school, about some time after discovering Michelle Phan. That is almost 10 years that I have been following her. Before she even got married, and not she has got 2 children! Wow how time flies. She post more on her vlog channel now compared to her beauty channel, but I still watch all of her beauty videos. She is one of the youtubers that I have no problem trusting. But most importantly, I love her for her positivism and she always gives good advises. One of my personal favorite quotes that have come out from her mouth is : "Tea is meant to be consumed, and not spilled." She was actually talking about the Youtube drama that was going on between Jeffree Star and those people you know whos.

7. Wayne Goss

I love his simple, short yet compact and very informative videos. He gives amazing makeup tips and tricks and you can definitely tell that he is a very professional makeup artist. I have tried a lot of tricks that he teach on his videos and so far it has been giving me impressive results. If you're looking for makeup tricks like how to use your brushes or how to make your makeup last longer, I definitely recommend you to subscribe to his channel. Psst, he is such a beautiful guy too ;)

8. Kristin Johns

I gotta admit, I do not watch her for her beauty videos, but i watch her videos for her being her! I love her so much that I just need to include her in this post. She is the cutest, most adorable, genuine little creature you will ever see lol. She is like a little kid trapped in an adult body. So pure and innocent. I love watching her house decorating videos, but she do upload beauty videos too if you're interested in that department. And her relationship with her husband? Ugh, to die for. They are the cutest couple I swear. Been following them since they were dating and I literally cried when they got married hahaha.

And those are my top list of beauty youtubers! You must be wondering, where is Jeffree Star or Nickitutorials? Well, I do subscribe them, but I don't watch them as much because I prefer shorter videos. Jeffree's and Nicki's videos are too long for me and even if I do watch them, I'll skip a lot lol. Still love them though!

In fact, I am subscribed to more than 150 channels on Youtube. Other youtubers that I love watching includes Wengie, Heyitsfeiii, itsJudyslife, meejmuse, Joankim and list goes on and on. Crazy how much time I spent there lol, but they are mostly for education purposes :P

A lot of my friends and family members keep asking me to start up my own youtube channel, but honestly, I am just not feeling it yet. I don't like to expose myself too much in public, but I still love sharing my experiences and thoughts so blogging is perfect for me for the time being. Maybe someday I'll consider Youtube? Maybe, who knows what the future has for me hehe. But yeah for now, I love blogging! I hope you guys love reading my posts too :D Till then, byebye and have a good day!

Skincare does not have to be expensive for them to work miraculously. I have tried  a lot of high end products that just don't do enough if not nothing at all for my skin. On the other hand, I have tried so many drugstore products that surprises me on how good they are and won't be able to live without them. So here are my top 10 drugstore skincare products!

1. Biore Makeup Cleansing Wipes (RM5-RM28 depending on size)

This makeup wipes is truly a gem. It is the most saturated makeup wipes that I've ever tried in my life. It is indeed a little bit more expensive than a lot of other makeup wipe brands, but that was exactly why I decided to try it out, out of curiosity. And I have never looked back! It has been my go to makeup wipes to put in my handbags or when I go travelling. Like I said, the wipes are super saturated with makeup remover that you only need one sheet to remove your entire makeup. It removes waterproof mascara too! And most importantly, the tissue itself is very gentle. The reason why I dislike other brands' are because the tissue can be a little harsh that I feel like I am exfoliating my skin every time I use them. But this one from Biore is really gentle and easy to use.

2. Garnier Micellar Water (RM28)

Another makeup remover product! But other than using this to take off my makeup, I just love it to cleanse my skin prior using face wash just to take off dirt and dusts on my face first. It definitely improves my skin texture as my cleanser can work better and deeper afterwards. For RM28? How can you beat that? See my full review on it here.

3. Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Toner (RM38)

It is actually hard to impress me when it comes with toner, because a lot of them are drying. I love watery toners, but the problem with watery toners are that a lot of them contain alcohol. And so as this one, lol! But, despite of having some alcohol, I do not find this toner to be drying for my skin. It contains lactic acid which helps to unclog the pores and I can definitely says that it does what it claims. I have used 3 bottles of this and finally moved on to something else, just so that my skin won't get immune to it. I'll definitely repurchase again in the future! Full review here.

4. Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF50 PA++++ (RM30)

I think you must have known by now if you follow my blog, that nothing replaces this one as my favorite drugstore sunscreen. I did tried other ones from Biore like the face milk blue version, watery essence, and aqua rich whitening but none else my skin loves more than this lol. I do have another favorite one from Innisfree though, but I'll save that later for korean beauty favorites post soon, so stay in tuned! Full review of this sunscreen here.

5. Mia care Acne Patch Day (RM10)

This is actually a recent and accidental favorite. I used to purchase the one from Nexcare, but it wasn't available when I wanted to purchase it. I have used the Nexcare one since like..3 to 4 years ago? It wasn't incredible, but it gets the job done after using 3-4 patches for an acne. But this one however, woah! First of all, the patch is a lot thinner, so it is not super obvious if you have to get out of the house with it. Sure it will still be visible if you look up close though. With this, I only need like 1-2 patches and the acne is as flat as pancake lol. Therefore it is worth more for the price since you only need at like one or two for an acne. If you're asking me to try out the infamous acne patch from Cosrx.....don't. I've tried them and hated them lol. Even the Nexcare one is better than the Cosrx's lol! Sorry Cosrx, maybe do better. I do love your other products though.

6. Biore Pore Strip (RM11)

Another Biore product! Yes, it is not the best to use pore strips as it can enlarge your pores, but I can't help it hehe. It is very satisfying to use. I do limit myself to only using it twice a month if I could. Using the right method, meaning exfoliating and steaming your face before using this, it really takes out a lot of gunk! I tried so many from the drugstore, but this one is really the best and the most effective one. I have stopped using the Vietnamese pore strip that is very popular here in Malaysia. Actually that one works the best, it takes out wayyyy more for way cheaper, but I also notice that it is too harsh for my skin and it just causes more whiteheads in the long term. So yeah, this one from Biore is perfect for my skin.

7. St. Ives Green Tea Scrub (RM23)

I love this thing soooooooo much ugh. I love scrubbing, and this one is really the best, probably the perfect scrub for me! I used to be a hardcore fan of the Apricot version in high school, but yall know how controversial that one got so I switched to this one. The scrub is a lot finer and soooo satisfying to use! I love the scent very much too, it is just refreshing. The only downside to St. Ives scrubs is that they can get mouldy pretty quickly, so I'll avoid keeping them in the bathroom as the damp environment can speed up the moulding process. Keep it in ya room instead! Full review here.

8. Vaseline Healthy White SPF24 Lotion (RM8)

I purposely buy the small bottle to use it as a hand lotion. I don't like lathering sunscreen to my hands, so I'll always make sure to get a hand lotion with SPF in it. This one by Vaseline feels light and it absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. It is not greasy at all, and it does moisturizes very well too. I do notice little lightening of my skin tone on my hands since I've started using it. It is noticeable because I am someone who tans very easily, so I'll always get tan lines around my wrists because I wear long sleeves all the time. And after about a month of using this lotion, the tan is gone! Pretty amazing.

9. In2it Lip Treat (RM7)

Still is my favorite, most affordable lip balm in the drugstore. This one causes under RM10. RM7 to be precise. Again, I am a puteri lilin, so I'll my lip balm also have to contain a bit of SPF if not much. But aside from having SPF24, the reason  why I love this so much is how well it treats my cracked lip. I used to have a very easily cracked and chapped lips, but I've never suffered from it anymore when I started using this. It is now probably my 10th tube, and I am not even exaggerating. I just don't care about other lip balms anymore, even from the high ends.

10. Clean & Clear Oil Control Film (RM11)

This is a must have for every student back in high school. Growing up and out of school, I have tried so many other oil control film, even more expensive ones but nothing ever beats this one from Clean & Clear. It really is the best in terms of quality and the pricing. A lot of other oil films in the market that I found are made from like really thin paper feeling like those paper sheets that you use for baking, and they just don't absorb oil as well as this.

And those are my top 10 favorites from the drugstore! You may realize that I don't include any cleanser or moisturizer. I have tried a lot, they are great but not really my favorite. I prefer korean brands when it comes to those two areas. Comment down below if you want to share yours, I would love to check them out :D
