Iman Ridzuan

If you have been following my blog, you must have known that my holy grail lip balm is from In2It. Guess which brand has been my all time favourite, holy grail liquid eyeliner? Okay right, I obviously wrote it in the title haha! Well, In2it never fail to impress me with the quality of their make up products despite of the very affordable price. If you want to know why I love their liquid eyeliner very much, keep on reading!

So recently I bought a new In2It Liquid Eyeliner to replace my old one which has totally dried up, and this is probably my 4th purchase if im not mistaken. That's how much I love this stuff. And as you can see from the picture above, sometimes there will be an offer where you can get buy 1 free 1 of the liquid liner, which happens pretty regularly actually. There are two types of the black liquid liner which are matte (yellow cap) and shiny (orange cap) . I tried both of them and I personally love the matte version more because I'm not really a big fan of a metallic black finish for my eyeliner. And for this one that I bought, it comes with a free metallic turquoise liquid liner. I'm actually quite excited to try it. The best thing is I only paid RM16.80 for these two babies! Quite an awesome deal right there. You can find them at Watsons.

It has a brush tip applicator which is really thin and I find it very easy to work with. It's very unlikely to make a mistake while using this eyeliner. Not saying that I'm a pro at applying liquid eyeliner, as it might be the trickiest part in our makeup routine, but this one from In2It really helps in steadying my hand as the cap is quite long. So it's just like drawing with a pen.

Here's the swatch! Notice how black the color is? LOVE. Excuse my ugly handwriting, hahaha but it really felt like writing with a calligraphy pen or something. You can use the tip of the brush to draw thin line, and align it vertically to draw a thicker line.

Here's how it looks after a vigorous rubbing. When I say vigorous, i mean it. Look how red my hand had become haha! The turquoise one really impresses me as it looks like nothing comes off. Still sparkly like a boss. And I didn't even wait too long for it to dry. Only took about 2-3 minutes until it totally set. This eyeliner never smudge on me and I'm someone with oily eyelids. So that impresses me. However, you might want to be careful not to rub your eyes when having this on because it can flake off. It can be easily washed off with some water and rubbing, But please don't do that regularly as tugging your eyes can cause premature wrinkles. Simple take it off with eye make up remover okay? Longevity wise, this can really last up to 6-7 hours as long as you don't rub your eyes. I had once fall asleep with this on and woke up with perfect winged eyeliner lol.

Pros :
  • Very affordable
  • Doesn't smudge
  • Easy application
  • Long wearing
Cons :
  • None!
Will I repurchase?
Always :D

1. Dove Nourishing Oil Care Hair Serum

I love to use this hair serum right after I towel dried my hair. That means I'll apply this serum when my hair is still damp and almost dry. This leaves my hair feeling so soft and smooth plus it makes my hair frizz free when it fully dries and more managable! For the price of RM20++, you really can't go wrong with this hair serum.

2. Garnier Light Comlete Multi-Action Whitening Cream

I have quite a sensitive skin so it is hard for me to find a good moisturizer that won't break me out. This one fortunately, doesn't break me out at all. It doesn't doesn't really have an amazing moisturizing ability but I find it great in controlling the oil production of my skin. Furthermore I find that it really helps with brightening my acne scars and my overall complexion. The SPF17 is a plus point, but of course I do still need extra protection from the sun. Can't skip sunblock!

3. Hada Labo Tamagohada AHA and BHA Cream Cleanser

There are two versions of this cleanser, which is the foaming type ( blue round bottle) and this one, the cream version that comes in blue tube. I was debating whether to get the foaming version or the cream version at first, so I go ahead and pick the cream version because it's a little cheaper considering that I just want to give it a try first, (typical Asian cheapskate hehe) and oh my god I just fall in love with this cleanser immediately! The AHA and BHA acids in this cleanser helps with my clogged pores so much that my skin has now calm down from the breakouts that I'm having. What I really love about it is that it doesn't have any useless stuff that other companies always put in their products naming alcohol, fragrance, colorant and mineral oil. So it is really great for people with sensitive skin. It doesn't leave my skin a dry and tight feeling after washing, and it's really easy to rinse off. This retails at RM27++

4. Vietnam Pore Mask

If you're suffering from blackheads and whiteheads, you should really check this baby out if you haven't yet. This literally takes EVERYTHING out from your pores. The application can be a little messy, it's like applying glue on your face. And then you will need to stick the tissue paper thingy onto the glue on your face and just wait for it to dry, then pull. You will be amazed on how much blackheads or whiteheads this pore mask pick out. May I warn you that it can be quite painful to take off at first, but you will get used to it. Beauty is Pain, right? You can simply get this at any local beauty stores or insta shops. Just type in #vietnammask on the search bar. Price ranges about RM7-10. So worth it!

Hello! I just love body scrubs. I think it is an essential for any girls in this world to conclude a body scrub in their shower routine. I usually scrub my body in the shower once a week, sometimes twice. It just makes me feel so fresh and clean!

If you know Soap & Glory, then comes to a no surprise that their products smells so good. So let's talk about how this guy smells like first. I personally fall in love at first sense at this one due to the scent. This body buff in particular smells very sweet, like sugar mixed with vanilla. Hmm, maybe I'm not too good at describing scent, but that's what popped in my mind when I smell this thing. If you by any chance going to the Sephora, just try and smell it. The scent does linger to my skin after using it. If I use this at night, the scent stays even in the morning after when I woke. Plus point for that!

The body buff uses Babbasu, Jojoba and Mandarin oils, and sea salt as the main ingredients. Such good combinations for a moisturizing benefit. I noticed right away after rinsing it that my skin felt smooth and moisturized. I am a quick person in the shower, so I don't usually leave the scrub on for too long, and sometimes I don't at all. Just right after scrubbing I'll jump straight into the shower and rinse it off. It still moisturizes beautifully. Keep touching my legs and arms. hahaha.

As you can see in the picture above, the body buff has pink beads in it. It actually helps with the exfoliation. Though, I don't think it does a great job at exfoliating because the beads are plastic-ky, so I don't really enjoy scrubbing with it as I prefer something, not rougher, but more abrasive, because the exfoliation makes me feel a lot cleaner. Like the St. Ives Apricot body scrub. But, if you have a sensitive skin, this might be a good one for you, as the exfoliation is very gentle. The salt in the body buff will turn into a milky consistency when in touch with the water on your skin during shower so it doesn't help with the exfoliation. I think the majority moisturizing job is done by the oils in this body buff.

Overall, I think it is a good scrub, but I'm not going to repurchase since I prefer something more exfoliating. I do enjoy the moisturizing part, and especially the scent. It retails at RM39.

Pros :

  • Sweet scent that will linger on you
  • Very moisturizing
  • Makes skin feels soft and smooth
  • Gentle exfoliation
Cons :
  • Plasticky exfoliating beads
  • As far as I know, you can only get this from Sephora and online
  • Contains paraben.

Hello gorgeous! Oh how I miss blogging. I'm really sorry for the long overdue if you are by any chance waiting for a new post from me. But I'm really glad that my final exam is finally over for this semester! Wooohooo Merdeka! So now I'll be continuing my last semester before my second practical. Can't wait to graduate ^.^

Anyway, moving on to the main purpose of this topic, I'm going to talk about an eye cream that I've been wanting to try out since forever. I finally got it in my hands because I know that I'll get horrible dark circles during my exams. So I prepared myself to buy this roller about a month and a half ago.

I love how exclusive the packaging looks like! Especially the metal cap. This is a click on eye roller, means you have to click the button at the back in order to get the product out. This retails at RM54.90, but the price can go down til RM38.43 when it is on sale. So if you want to try this out but hesitating due to the price, just wait for sales okay? XD

This is the button that I was talking about. It's just a plastic click on button. The feeling during clicking on it it's not so luxurious though. It doesn't go down and up so smoothly like clicking a pen. But it's not a really big deal for me though. Just thought I had to mention it. For the first time you buy this product, you will have to click several times to get the product out. It scared me at first because I thought the inside was empty after clicking few times and still the product won't go out lol! Just be patient. But after that I only have to click once each for my eyes. The product that gets out in one click is just enough for one side of my eye.

When you press the back button, the product will come out at the sides of these three metal rollers. These rollers are not cooling much like the Jade Eye Roller from Ginvera. You can google it up. So upon application I don't find the roller revitalizing to my eyes. But they do give good massage for the eyes to reduce that water retention from your eye bags. However, massaging with these rollers alone is not enough to get the product absorb completely under my eyes. I think this also happens in most of other eye rollers in the market though.

The product is not too thin like water and not too thick like a cream. I would say the consistency is just tad bit thicker than a serum. It is not sticky though and helps to moisturize my under eye really well so applying concealer under my eyes is like a breeze. No cakey under eye! I think it does helps in reducing puffiness under my eyes, but I don't think it does much for my dark circles. It reduces them a bit, but I guess in order to get a better result, I might need to buy two more of these haha! Which is quite disappointing actually because that is the main purpose of me buying it. But actually I won't complain much on that department because I am someone who always sleep late. Sooo can't really expect this to help when I can't even help myself to sleep early lol.

Before

After

This isn't a really good before and after picture due to different lightling haha! I'm really sorry but dumb me forgot to take a before shot of my under eye condition. So I just look into my gallery stash to find a picture that shows my clear dark circles before I was using this eye roller,

Anyway, I actually have finished this eye roller a few days back. It was a surprise to me because I never thought it would ran out so fast. And then I looked at the pen and it says 6ml, I was like, okay no wonder. It would be better if we get a little bit more product from the price we pay. Therefore I would say it is quite overpriced, I don't know. Maybe I thought I could get a miracle result from this. But I think there's other products out there that can give the same result with better price.

Cons :
  • Helps with puffiness
  • Love the massaging metal roller
  • Moisturizing
Pros :
  • Doesn't help much with my dark circles
  • Quite expensive for just 6ml of product
  • Doesn't really do an amazing job
Will I repurchase?

I know how good those Jack n Jill crackers are, and those delicious Mister Potato Chips that we always munch on while we are watching movies, reading. But those kind of junk foods can be really bad for your health, and your skin, hair and nails. They contain a lot of preservatives that can cause problems such as hair loss, brittle nails, and dry skin in a long run. So why don't we try to change those snacks into some healthier ones that are actually good for or health and appearance? Keep on reading to know some healthy and delicious snacks for a better replacement!

1. Almond

Raise your hands if you love almond nuts like I do! I'll never miss buying packets of salted almonds, honey coated almonds and sugared almonds from petrol stations when I know I'll be in car for long. Who knows such a simple snack can actually be good for your hair and nails? Almonds are very rich in calcium, which is beneficial for strong bones, teeth and of course, our nails. So if you crave for that strong, shiny looking nails, start consuming almonds regularly! They are also rich in Biotin, that can also help to strengthen the hair and nails.

2. Salad

The greens, which most of us tried to avoid putting inside our body when we were a child, but then we start to love as we grow older. We all know that there are abundant of vitamins that you can obtain from the vegetables, such as A, C, E, K and B. But for your information, the greens are also an important source of minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium. These trace minerals are very beneficial for your hair and nails. No wonder our parents forced us to consume them when we were little! If you still do not like the taste of vegetables alone, you can always spice it up with salad dressings such as tartar sauce or just drizzle some lemon juice and olive oil. Some good vegetables you can combine to make a salad are spinach, kale, broccoli, carrot, baby tomatoes, and cabbage. Add on almond nuts for extra crunch and benefit!

3. Banana

Bananas are very good for your skin, hair and nails because it is rich in potassium. For your information, deficiency of potassium in your body will lead to hair falls. Yikes! Something us girls really want to avoid. The potassium content is also great in keeping your skin hydrated and support the growth of new skin cells, hence preventing your skin from looking dull, and also fade away scarring. No wonder the minions love them so much!

4. Sushi

Of course we can consider sushi as a snack, can we? But not any sushi in particular, i'm talking about salmon! That's because sushi is the most common way to get salmon into your body, at least for me. hehe. Salmon is packed with omega-3 acid, which your body can't produce. So you can only get them by consuming fish like salmon, sardines and tuna. The Omega-3 acid will help to improve the appearance of our skin, hair and nails making them look a lot healthier and shinier.

5. Berries

The berries, such as strawberry, blueberry, cranberry and blackberry are sooo delicious and tasty especially when they just got out from the fridge. For your information, the berries are rich in B Vitamins that can promote hair growth by improving blood circulation and oxygenation on your scalp. Not only that, it also helps in broken capillaries by speeding up the healing process. So don't worry the next time you accidentally popped on a pimple. Just consume more berries!

So those are my top 5 healthy snacks for healthy skin, hair and nails. Don't forget that these snacks not only have variety of beauty benefits, but they are also good for your health! So, instead of swallowing all those supplements and pills, why don't you try our Mother Nature recipes first? It will cost you no harm! Just remember that the raw and organic ones are always the best. Good Luck!
